Ripper Rugby

When the sports activator visited the school last week she took us for a training session to help us practise the skills we need to play ripper rugby. We worked a lot with a partner practising how to rip off the tags. We learnt about how to pass a rugby ball properly and about some of the rules of ripper rugby. We enjoyed a game of bullrush where you had to run to safety without having your tags ripped off. Some of our class represented the school at the ripper rugby tournament in Balclutha on Thursday 2 June.
